Blue Cross Blue Shield has developed a retinue of plans that are carefully designed with its members in mind, including:
- Blue Care, a health maintenance organization (HMO) plan that gives members access to providers within the plan’s extensive coverage network, at a fixed out-of-pocket cost.
- Blue Options, a preferred provider organization (PPO) plan that allows members to seek attention from providers within as well as outside the plan network. Blue Options includes prescription coverage and access to preventative care.
